So, S and I (with the help of our dear friend ODB) spent the day packing our little home into tiny, relatively organized, boxes. I never realized how being pregnant would affect how much busy work I could get done in a certain amount of time. We got loads of the house packed today, but I'm exhausted! I wish I had pictures of the organized mess, but alas, no such luck.
But fabulous news! We purchased our baby's bed set this weekend. I absolutely LOVE it! We're going to paint his room blue and dark brown to match the bedding. Also, finally found a jogging stroller (an affordable one) and a beautiful crib online. I'm so excited to finally get settled and get started in decorating little A's room.

Very Firsts
Well, our decision has been made to move out west. For S, this is home...for me not so much. It will be my first time living out of the South. I'm not sure how it will go, but although I'm nervous and anxious, I'm still getting excited. Since we are moving so far away, I decided that it was a good time to start a blog and keep our family and friends updated on our little family.
It seems like our first year of marriage (and a little beyond) had been bursting full of firsts. Married...first college gradutation, first professional job (for me), first big move, and first baby! It has been an exciting, yet exhausting year for the two of us. We have been scrambling to try and gather things that we will need for the baby before we leave town. I guess I never realized how much a little tiny baby requires...in regards to "stuff." Its insane! But so much fun at the same time. We found out a little over a week ago that our little one is a boy (of course S just knew the whole time). I'm looking forward to decorating his room all cute and boyish when we get out west! Any ideas?
