Sooo...

We bought A a new bed when we moved to our new apartment. It has been roughly 3 weeks. He has already learned this:

And then, my sweet little escape artist decided that he has found love:

Don't worry little man. I love it too! We should have invested in a Diaper Genie when A was an infant! Best. Invention. Ever.

Finally, some updates!

April marked A's second visit to Baby Animal Days! Oh man, did he love it.  We saw baby turtles, goats, cows (which he's not scared of any more), horses, ducks, turkeys, chickens, dogs, cats. He was in little A heaven.

Although, I'm not sure if he enjoyed the calf...

...but the calf sure enjoyed him!

I think his favorite part, though, was the balloon we bought him.

Every chance he had, he would try and look back at it (because the wind was blowing it behind him).

Other fun things...:

The day A got his adenoids out and his tubes put in. We got him balloons because, for A, balloons make everything better!

Our most recent family picture. Taken on the weekend before my birthday.

Aaannnd of course, Easter.

Thanks Grammy and Paw Paw for the really cute outfit!

Its my party, and I'll cry if I want to...

Well, I'm hoping there will be no crying (except for mine, inevidably, because my baby will be 1)! A will turn One Year in exactly one week. Oh my goodness! Where did the last year go?? It feels like only a couple of months ago (not days or weeks because I can walk and even run now) that I was in the hospital giving birth to him. He has grown and learned so much in the past year, I can't believe how different he is from when he was a teeny tiny baby. (Well, relatively teeny since he was never a small baby).

Here is a sneak peek into the birthday preparations. :)

Obviously, I didn't make this cake. I don't have a kid named Joseph. But this is what I am going to make his cake to look like. As closely as possible anyway.

A is enjoying his first birthday present already, thanks Grammy and Paw Paw!

I'm making his birthday banner. I made one for S's birthday, and decided to make it a family tradition.

I can't wait to update everyone on how his party goes!  I can say this, we're THRILLED that Grammy and Paw Paw are going to brave the snowy mountains to be there.

Fall in love with Fall

We sure did!!

Now bring on the snow!

I thought...

*That toilet paper pulling was supposed to start with the terrible twos... Not when he is 10 months!

But I was wrong.

*That peppermint would be too strong of a flavor for such a young fella...

But I was wrong.

* That he might like to feed the geese at the park...

But I was wrong...

He wanted to chase them.

* That he is SO cute when he walks!!

And I was totally right!
